Jessica Tisch, the NYPD commissioner and scion of one of New York’s wealthiest families, has sold her Upper East Side duplex co-op for $10.5 million, a haircut from its original ask but still a healthy gain from the purchase price. The sale of the 4,000-square-foot spread at Nine East 79th Street closed Aug. 12, according to city records cited by Crain’s. Tisch and her husband, venture capitalist Dan Levine, first listed the prewar four-bedroom last March for $13 million, ultimately shaving about 20 percent off the ask to get it done.
