Troubled Paramount Group reveals it is under SEC investigation
Embattled Paramount Group revealed the company is under an investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission, months after telling shareholders it made millions of dollars in previously undisclosed payments to its CEO’s companies. The publicly traded company said the SEC is investigating the firm’s disclosures related to executive compensation, perks, corporate asset use, related party transactions and conflicts of interest. The investigation will also look at controls and procedures related to those disclosures.
