RXR scores political support for migrant shelter conversion
Scott Rechler’s RXR is poised to redevelop a Clinton Hill site briefly used as a migrant shelter after scoring support from a key legislator. The City Council’s land-use committee and zoning subcommittee unanimously approved RXR’s rezoning application for the conversion of 47 Hall Street in the Brooklyn neighborhood, Crain’s reported. Local councilmember Crystal Hudson voted in favor of the land-use decision. “With this application, this space will finally maximize its potential and secure additional housing in the high-demand neighborhood of Clinton Hill,” Hudson said, according to the outlet.
