New dev townhouse top Brooklyn’s top luxury contracts
A deal for a newly constructed townhouse last week added to the property type’s reign atop Brooklyn’s luxury market. The Carroll Gardens home asking $8 million was the priciest among Brooklyn’s signed contracts last week, according to Compass’ weekly report for contracts signed on homes asking at least $2 million. It was one of 20 contracts signed from Aug. 18 to Aug. 24, which included 10 condos and 10 houses.
