Brooklyn Heights townhouse asking $8.6M snags off-market deal
An off-market townhouse scored Brooklyn’s top contract last week. The Brooklyn Heights townhouse was one of 16 contracts — five condos and 11 townhouses — that went into contract between Aug. 3 and Aug. 10, according to Compass’ weekly report for contracts signed on homes asking at least $2 million. The total contract volume was $59 million. The borough saw 18 contracts signed for $52 million in the previous week, and during the second week of August last year there were 13 contracts signed for $42 million.
